Since its launch in 2018, Thurstan’s award-winning work - spanning bespoke hospitality projects and private residences worldwide - has earned a place on House & Garden and Country Life’s prestigious Top 100 Interior Designers lists. As the former European Design Director at Soho House, James worked on a series of Houses around the world (including Istanbul, Miami, Barcelona and London) and his experience of living and working in LA, New York, London, Hong Kong and Barcelona has informed the Thurstan aesthetic, with its myriad of global references.
